Caught this one on a home-made spinner rig and live minnow. Gotta love fall fishin’. There’s something truly magical about being alone on the lake with my thoughts and a few active fish. I love it. The best part about it is that she’s still swimming.

Ok I admit, I saw him on the surface and snagged him. Strange fish. I had one of these swim right into my boat in 3 feet of water.
Spearers near Baie des Brises
Monday, September 13th, 2004I heard that some people were spear fishing near baie des brises in hungry bay in the beginning of summer. This was done during spawning and is completely unbearable. I strongly encourage anyone who witnesses this to immediately report this to officials. As for the culprits, shame on you.
